Day 1- Vancouver and Beyond! - We pick you up from your downtown Vancouver hotel at 2 pm and whisk you across the famous Lion's Gate Bridge as you get to know your new mates on your guided hiking tour in BC. We begin our journey up the Sea to Sky Highway, famous for its jaw dropping views of Howe Sound and the Coast Mountains that rise steeply from the ocean shores. We make a few scenic stops and continue North, leaving the bustle of the city behind and checking into our home for the next two nights in Squamish. Squamish is the adventure capital of Canada, and over the next two days of your hiking tour you will find out why! Tonight we all head out to downtown Squamish and eat at one of the best restaurants around, chatting about the days to come.

Day 2- From Sea to Sky! - Today we have a hearty breakfast and fresh roasted coffee and then go for a guided hike up the Chief, one of the most impressive looking mountains around, and a local favourite. The trail is well maintained with stairs and even chains and ladders in areas to make hiking easier in a place that was once reserved for mountaineers. Once on the top we stop for a panoramic picnic, feasting on local delicacies in a charcuterie style spread. When we return down to sea level we head over to Shannon Falls, the third highest waterfall in BC. It's easy to feel small, standing at the bottom and feeling the mist on your face as the water tumbles down over 600 feet.

Day 3- Hiking and Glaciers! - This morning we pack up and check out of our hotel, bound for Whistler, but not without some adventures along the way. Your guide will decide on a suitable hike for today's adventure, heading up to Elfin Lakes or Garibaldi Lake, hiking through lush forests and over alpine meadows filled with wildflowers and tantalizingly fresh air. Soak in the views of glaciers and snowfields on nearby mountains and even go for a victory swim in Garibaldi Lake if you dare! After our guided hike we stop at Brandywine Falls, an impressive and beautiful waterfall dropping some 200 feet to a gorge far below. A short drive later we arrive in Whistler, one of the most famous mountain towns in the world and check into your hotel for the next two nights, before heading out on the town for some delicious food.

Day 4- Exploring Whistler! - Today we give you the freedom to explore Whistler on your own, or go with your guide for another guided hiking trip. If you choose to go your own way, your guide will help connect you with the multitude of adventures in Whistler. You can try ziplining, rent a mountain bike, go for a gondola ride, or get someone far kinder than your guide to rub your feet and spoil you rotten. If you join your guide you will likely be heading up for a big hike to Wedgemont Lake, a sight few locals have even seen and one you won't soon forget. In the evening you can head out on the town, or perhaps your guide will take you for a swim in one of the many lakes surrounding Whistler.

Day 5- Instagram Famous at Joffre Lakes- We pack up and check out of our Whistler hotel, heading into the heart of the Coast Mountains. Check out thundering Nairn Falls during a quick sightseeing stop in Pemberton, before we continue up into Duffy Pass. We stop for one of the best guided hikes in British Columbia, exploring the gems of Joffre Lakes. The first lake will blow your mind with postcard worthy natural beauty. You may recognize the second lake from that famous Instagram photo where someone balances on a log, out over the impossibly blue water while looking reflective. (You know the one). And the third lake will blow your mind again, with up close and personal views of a glacier right above the lake, trickling down into the lake (which is also impossibly blue). After you've taken enough photos to last a lifetime we continue along the scenic drive, stopping at Fort Berens Winery for a quick tasting before we check into our unique glamping resort, where we will live for the next two days.

Day 6- Rafting Day! - Give your legs a break today as we head out with Kumsheen Rafting Resort for an incredible day on the Thompson River. This is the fourth largest commercially rafted river in the world by volume, and we are in for a really great time. This is my favourite rafting in Canada, because Lytton is blessed with very hot sunny conditions, being on the edge of the desert, and the Thompson river is very unique in that it is not freezing cold like most rivers in the mountains. The water settles in a few lakes on the way to where we raft, resulting in the perfect mix of hot sun and crystal clear, perfectly refreshing water misting us as we thread through the rapids. A hunred and fifty years ago fur traders dared their way down these rapids, but ran into harsh times so it never became a popular trade route. Decades later the Cariboo Gold Rush brought prospectors to this area and we can still see signs of this today from the river. This is also the most interesting and deadly point of the Canadian railroad, so you will be treated to many stories during our float, along with a delicious lunch. Tonight we relax at the glamping resort, enjoying the warm desert air and watch the stars come out during a campfire.

Day 7- Through Hell's Gate to Vancouver - After a tasty breakfast we pack up and hit the road, bound for Vancouver. Along the way we retrace the steps of countless explorers and head through the Fraser Canyon, following the largest river in Canada. We stop at Hell's Gate for a look at one of the most treacherous rapids in Canada, complete with boat eating whirlpools and crashing waves. Luckily, we stay dry and watch from up high, before continuing on our way. We aim to have you back in Vancouver by 2 pm and can drop you off at any hotel. We say good bye and hope to see you again because you are a member of our family now!
